History
During the late 1920s, Henry Hendricks moved from Wisconsin to Kimball, Minnesota. Henry met a Kimball woman and they started the Hendricks Bus Service. In 1972, his son and daughter-in-law bought the business from him. The children and grandchildren have joined the company since then.
Since school is out in the summer, Lonnie and Dave Hendricks started Hendricks Sand & Gravel so that Lonnie could support his family year round. Even though they started out small with only a small truck and excavator, they have grown to be a bigger business since then.
Hendricks Sand & Gravel is still a strong family owned business today which employs Lonnie, his wife, their sons Eric and Joe, two truck drivers and summer part time help.
